Dear Friend,
I just wanted to check in, did you see my email yesterday?
With MPs set to vote on Friday on whether the assisted dying Bill will move forward in Parliament, time is running out. If you haven’t yet emailed your MP, please take a moment to do so now. Every single message matters.
Here’s the link to email your MP today: www.dignityindying.org.uk/bill
Opponents are stepping up their efforts, and we must not be outpaced. If we want to see compassion reflected in our laws, we need to speak up now, clearly and urgently.
Thanks so much for standing with us.
Best wishes,

Dear friend,
I hope you’ll forgive me for writing on a Sunday. With MPs due to vote on the assisted dying Bill in just five days, there is no time to waste. I want to ensure that, across the board, we have done everything possible to get this Bill over the line.
That’s why I wanted to send you a message, personally, to make sure that you have emailed your MP, asking them to attend the crucial Third Reading vote next Friday (20th June) and vote in support of law change. I don’t need to tell you how important - and rare - this opportunity is. Everything will come down to this vote.
You can email your MP quickly and easily using our personalisable tool here: www.dignityindying.org.uk/bill
If you haven’t contacted your MP in the last week, it’s still not too late to do so. Opponents of this compassionate change are mobilising in force and supportive MPs need to be reminded that this is what they were elected to do – represent the will of the people. Law change is the will of every constituency in the country, and we mustn’t let them forget it.
I’ll leave you to the rest of your weekend, but thanks for all you have already done to back this bill and all you will do to make an assisted dying law a reality.
It’s time to do better for dying people. It’s time to change the law on assisted dying.
Yours sincerely,
Sarah Wootton
