Listen up! A few weeks ago, the U.S. House Republicans passed Trump’s
draconian budget and tax bill that blatantly prioritizes tax breaks for
billionaires and mega-corporations over essential programs (like
healthcare) that allow our families and economy to thrive. We’re talking
about the biggest cuts to food stamps and healthcare in American history:
the proposal includes $860 billion in cuts to Medicaid and $250 billion in
cuts to food assistance. [1] 16 million Americans stand to lose their
health care coverage as a result of this harmful bill, and it will lead to
over 51,000 preventable deaths annually. [ [link removed] ] All of this in order to give
billionaires and mega-corporations yet another tax cut. Every red flag is
waving!

Now, it’s up to the U.S. Senate to review this bill—and that’s where we
plan to stop this giant pile of awfulness in its tracks! There’s proof
that the pressure we’ve been putting on Congress is working. In fact, some
Republican Senators have already signaled their concerns with the Medicaid
