Dear John,

Pride Month is here—and in District 39, home to the iconic Brooklyn Pride Parade, we’re honoring the legacy of LGBTQIA+ resistance, resilience, and joy. This month, we have a lineup of events that uplift our artists, youth, families, and community power.

* Brooklyn Pride Street Festival ([link removed]) on Saturday, June 14th, starting at 11 AM on Fifth Avenue Open Streets (between Union and 9th Streets).
+ There are still open spots to volunteer for the Brooklyn Pride Festival. Fill out this interest form if you’d like to get involved ([link removed]) .
+ Small businesses and non-profits can still apply to be a vendor by filling out this application ([link removed]) .
+ Entertainment Stage: 12 PM to 6 PM at 5th Avenue and 8th Street with drag, musical performances, and more.
+ Family Fun Zone: 12 PM to 6 PM, in front of Old Stone House (336 3rd Street)
+ Annual Brooklyn Pride Twilight Parade: at 7:30 PM on 5th Avenue from Lincoln Place to 9th Street.
