Dear John,
Pride Month is here—and in District 39, home to the iconic Brooklyn Pride Parade, we’re honoring the legacy of LGBTQIA+ resistance, resilience, and joy. This month, we have a lineup of events that uplift our artists, youth, families, and community power.
Check out Arts Gowanus’ Rooted in Pride public art exhibition now through 8/31 at Old Stone House (336 3rd Street) and Washington Park celebrating Brooklyn’s queer artists.

There are still open spots to volunteer for the Brooklyn Pride Festival. Fill out this interest form if you’d like to get involved.
