Robust audits coming to Maryland: Verified Voting worked alongside key partners to pass a risk-limiting audit([link removed]) (RLA) bill in Maryland([link removed]), strengthening their post-election audit! Maryland joins a growing list of states that prioritize sound post-election audit([link removed]) legislation—because verifiable evidence is the best way to build lasting trust in our elections. Internet voting expansion halted in Nevada: Our continued advocacy efforts—alongside valued partners—helped remove a dangerous provision in a bill that would have expanded internet voting in Nevada. As I highlighted in a recent Public News Service interview([link removed]), election experts widely agree([link removed]) that internet voting presents significant security risks. We’ll keep advocating for safer alternatives([link removed]) to internet voting in Nevada and everywhere.
