Dear Neighbors and Friends, 

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new "Open Gym for Girls" program right here in our community! This initiative is all about creating a safe and welcoming space for girls of all backgrounds, especially Muslim girls and youth of color, to get active and enjoy sports.* The Open Gym welcomes girls of all ages and experience levels. *

My office has partnered with *Jamad Basketball Camps* and *Saint Paul Parks and Recreation* to bring this program to life. Starting *Thursday, June 5th, 2025*, girls can join us *every Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM* at the *North End Community Center*. 

I'm really looking forward to welcoming Jamad to our district. She's not only an extremely talented basketball player but also a thoughtful leader who deeply believes that representation matters. I know her internationally known positive personality will be a wonderful asset to our community.
