**
------------------------------------------------------------
At the recent Oweesta Native CDFI Capital Convening in Waikoloa, Hawaii, JumpScale ([link removed]) and Spruce Root ([link removed]) presented the initial results from a breakthrough initiative in Indigenous economic and community well-being.
Over twelve months, ten Alaska Native-owned companies participated in a brand new business accelerator that is Indigenous-led and centered on founder well-being, healing collective trauma, and building business resilience. The initiative received a $6M grant from Mackenzie Scott’s Yield Giving in 2024. A second cohort in Alaska will begin in September, and JumpScale will expand the program into communities worldwide over the next two years.
A new documentary about the first cohort has been released. View it now. ([link removed])
