Dear Patriot,
Before I share this story, I have one important question:
Will you help sponsor life-changing treatment for a wounded veteran this
Memorial Day?

I hope you’ll take just a few moments to read what I’m about to share—because
it’s deeply personal, and it speaks to what Memorial Day truly means.
When most people think of Memorial Day, they picture waving flags, backyard
barbecues, and a day off from work.
But if you’re like me, you see more than that.
You see a folded flag handed to a grieving family.
You hear the lonely sound of Taps at a hero’s funeral.
You remember that freedom was bought with someone’s life.

Memorial Day is not about a long weekend. It’s about honoring sacrifice.
And one of the best ways we can do that… is by standing with the brothers and
sisters who made it home—but not in one piece.
Some came home missing limbs.
Some came home broken by what they saw.
Some came home… only to feel forgotten.
I’ve spoken to many veterans who tell me the hardest part wasn’t the
battlefield—it was coming home and feeling invisible.
Not because people didn’t care. But because so many didn’t know how to help.
That stuck with me.
Because these men and women didn’t stop fighting for us—so we shouldn’t stop
fighting for them.

My name is Chris Meek. Years ago, I was living what most people would call a
successful life—working in finance, managing millions of dollars, moving fast,
chasing goals.
But one conversation with a Marine changed the entire course of my life.
He told me that in the brutal heat of Iraq, he didn’t even have clean socks.
No hygiene supplies. No support. And when his buddies came home paralyzed or
missing limbs, there was nothing—nothing—to help them reclaim their
independence.
That lit a fire in me.
I started a grassroots effort called SoldierSocks. We sent supplies—socks,
wipes, essentials—to troops on the front lines. And we made a real impact.
But the more I listened to veterans, the more I realized—socks weren’t enough.
They didn’t just need supplies. They needed strength, mobility, and hope.
So we evolved. SoldierSocks became SoldierStrong.
Today, we partner directly with VA hospitals and clinics across the country to
deliver the most advanced medical technology available to America’s wounded
heroes.
Let me show you what that looks like:
🦿 Exoskeleton suits that help paralyzed veterans stand and walk again
🧠 Virtual reality therapy that helps veterans confront and heal from PTSD
🖐️ Advanced rehab tools that restore movement in arms and hands—so heroes can
feed themselves, hug their kids, and live with dignity

This isn’t theory. It’s real.
I’ve looked veterans in the eye—men and women who hadn’t stood in years—and
watched them take their first step.
I’ve seen mothers weep as their sons walked toward them.
I’ve seen therapists choke up as veterans, once lost in trauma, finally made
breakthroughs they never thought possible.
But there’s a heartbreaking reality:
Thousands of veterans are still waiting.
VA hospitals are underfunded, under-equipped, and overwhelmed.
And every day a veteran waits for treatment… they suffer.
Some spiral into depression.
Some give up.
Seventeen veterans die by suicide every single day.
We’re doing everything we can to change that.
But we’re a small nonprofit with a big mission. And we need your help to reach
more veterans—before it’s too late.
That’s why I’m coming to you today, humbly but urgently, to ask:
Will you make a Memorial Day gift to sponsor life-saving care for a wounded
hero?

If you’ve ever wanted to say “thank you” to a veteran in a way that actually
matters… If you’ve ever wondered how to honor the fallen in a way that brings
healing to the living…This is your chance.
We can’t bring back the heroes we lost. But we can make sure their brothers
and sisters don’t feel abandoned.
We can give them hope, dignity, and strength.
We can give them back the freedom they fought to protect.
Will you help? Please, make a tax-deductible gift today—whatever you can give.

Let’s honor Memorial Day with action.
Let’s remind our heroes they are not forgotten.
Let’s stand strong for those who stood for us.
With gratitude and respect,
Dr. Chris Meek
P.S. One veteran told us the worst part of his recovery was feeling like no
one saw him anymore. Let’s show him—and every wounded hero—that we see them. We
honor them. And we’re here to help. Please make your Memorial Day gift now.
