Memorial Day is not about a long weekend. It’s about honoring sacrifice.
And one of the best ways we can do that… is by standing with the brothers and sisters who made it home—but not in one piece.
Some came home missing limbs.
Some came home broken by what they saw.
Some came home… only to feel forgotten.
I’ve spoken to many veterans who tell me the hardest part wasn’t the battlefield—it was coming home and feeling invisible.
Not because people didn’t care. But because so many didn’t know how to help.
That stuck with me.
Because these men and women didn’t stop fighting for us—so we shouldn’t stop fighting for them.
My name is Chris Meek. Years ago, I was living what most people would call a successful life—working in finance, managing millions of dollars, moving fast, chasing goals.
But one conversation with a Marine changed the entire course of my life.
He told me that in the brutal heat of Iraq, he didn’t even have clean socks. No hygiene supplies. No support. And when his buddies came home paralyzed or missing limbs, there was nothing—nothing—to help them reclaim their independence.
That lit a fire in me.
I started a grassroots effort called SoldierSocks. We sent supplies—socks, wipes, essentials—to troops on the front lines. And we made a real impact.
But the more I listened to veterans, the more I realized—socks weren’t enough.
They didn’t just need supplies. They needed strength, mobility, and hope.
So we evolved. SoldierSocks became SoldierStrong.
Today, we partner directly with VA hospitals and clinics across the country to deliver the most advanced medical technology available to America’s wounded heroes.
Let me show you what that looks like:
🦿 Exoskeleton suits that help paralyzed veterans stand and walk again
🧠 Virtual reality therapy that helps veterans confront and heal from PTSD
🖐️ Advanced rehab tools that restore movement in arms and hands—so heroes can feed themselves, hug their kids, and live with dignity
