Yesterday, during a Homeland Security Committee hearing, I asked Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem a simple question:
“Has your agency stopped deporting people without a court hearing or access to due process?”
Her reply?
“Due process does not guarantee a hearing.”
That is a chilling statement.
It’s an attack on the rule of law, on our Constitution, and on basic human rights.
And it’s not a one-off. This is how these MAGA extremists govern - with contempt for the law, no respect for our democratic institutions, and absolutely no shame.
This moment is a call to action for every single American who believes in due process and the rule of law. We MUST make sure we have the resources to take the fight directly to these lawless authoritarians - and defeat every single one of them at the ballot box.
