Yesterday, during a Homeland Security Committee hearing, I asked Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem a simple question:
“Has your agency stopped deporting people without a court hearing or access to due process?”
Her reply?
“Due process does not guarantee a hearing.”
That is a chilling statement.
It’s an attack on the rule of law, on our Constitution, and on basic human rights.
And it’s not a one-off. This is how these MAGA extremists govern - with contempt for the law, no respect for our democratic institutions, and absolutely no shame.
