Clowns have always been political.
From ancient street performers to anti-fascist disrupters like the
Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army (CIRCA)^1, clowning has a radical
lineage: exposing the absurdity of authoritarianism, mocking power, and
stripping tyrants of their illusion of control.^2

That’s exactly what we’re doing on June 14, Trump’s birthday—and the day
he plans to parade through D.C. like a tinpot dictator.
We’re flipping the script with Kick Out The Clowns: grassroots street
circuses across the country that laugh, rage, and resist. But to pull this
off at scale, we need your help.
