From milking cows as a kid before the sun rises... to... well, milking cows
before the sun rises and representing District 22 in Washington now.



I don't know if you know this, John, but my mother and father are Portuguese
immigrants who came to the Central Valley in search of a better life.



They didn't have much when they built our farm in 1973, but they had grit,
faith,and an unwavering belief in the American Dream.



The same unwavering belief that built our farm is the same one that drives me
every single day in Congress.
