BOE: Bottom of Email
Hi John,
We have all had teachers who made a lasting impact on our lives – teachers who inspired us, broadened our minds, and encouraged us to become better versions of ourselves.
Teaching is more than a profession – it is a calling.
And as America celebrates Teacher Appreciation Month this May, I want to thank you for answering the call and for the life-changing work you do every day.
You connect young people to our nation’s Founding principles, like liberty, equality, and justice. You help them understand their roles in advancing those principles, for themselves and for others.
You teach students to think critically and engage civilly – even when they disagree. And you help them learn how to engage in their communities, putting them on the path to principled, productive citizenship.
The work you do is essential to the future of our nation, and we are honored to support you with the highest quality resources and programs. In the coming months, our team will be traveling the country offering free professional development to civics and history educators – and we’ll be unveiling engaging new resources for your classroom.
Please know how much we value your dedication to your students, and how committed we are to your success. We are honored to support your vital work, now and in the future.
With gratitude,
David J. Bobb, Ph.D.
