We're excited to see you all tonight at our General Body Meeting at 7pm at Crystal Lake. This will be the last chance to discuss the mayoral candidates before voting begins -- and we will also have the opportunity to hear from a few candidates for public advocate. You don't want to miss this meeting!

Review Key Endorsement Materials

In advance of this week's endorsement process, please review...

1. Our proposed constitutional amendments ([link removed]) , which will allow BYD to pursue ranked endorsements in ranked choice voting elections

2. Responses to our endorsement questionnaire from mayoral and comptroller candidates (s as a spreadsheet here ([link removed]) or pdf here ([link removed]) )

3. Videos submitted by mayoral candidates ([link removed])

Understand the Voting Process

Our voting process will require quick responses from our members this week! Please see below for an overview of how the process will work in the coming days. Each of the following requests will be sent via OpaVote.
1. Tuesday: Approve the constitutional amendment ([link removed]) . Members will have within 24 hours to complete.
2. Wednesday: Indicate whether each mayoral candidate should be part of the 5-person slate. Candidates must receive at least 60% approval to move forward. Members will have within 24 hours to complete.
3. Thursday: Submit a ranked-choice vote among mayoral candidates who met the 60% threshold and vote for comptroller (standard, non-ranked vote). Members will have 48 hours to complete this round.
