The concentration of nicotine in e-cigarettes continues to soar, putting young people at higher risk of nicotine addiction ([link removed])

A study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine ([link removed]) reveals that total nicotine content in U.S. e-cigarette sales has increased by nearly 250% since 2020, with the sharpest increases found in disposable e-cigarettes. These products are not only highly popular among youth, based on findings in other research, but now contain significantly more nicotine at a lower cost.

Iowa: A federal judge granted a preliminary injunction to block a law to create a vapor products directory listing permissible e-cigarette products to be sold in the state. A group of vaping businesses and organizations had sued the Iowa Department of Revenue over their law. The Iowa Attorney General's Office did not say whether it would appeal the ruling.
