Sheriff Gese joins Kingston meeting May 14

"Public welcome to hear updates on criminal activities and prevention"

Kitsap County Sheriff John Gese will join the Kingston Community Advisory Council meeting Wednesday, May 14 to provide updates on law enforcement activities in the greater Kingston area. The meeting takes place 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center, located at 26159 Dulay Road NE [ [link removed] ]. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend!

Topics will include an overview of criminal activities; responses to homeless encampments by the county's Homeless Encampment Action Response and Transitions [ [link removed] ] (HEART) Program; and the Citizens On Patrol [ [link removed] ] (COPS) volunteers that provide parking enforcement support downtown. There will be time for questions from the public.

The meeting will also feature KCAC committee reports, updates on community events and activities, and opportunities for public comment.
