Sheriff Gese joins Kingston meeting May 14
Public welcome to hear updates on criminal activities and prevention
Kitsap County Sheriff John Gese will join the Kingston Community Advisory Council meeting Wednesday, May 14 to provide updates on law enforcement activities in the greater Kingston area. The meeting takes place 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center, located at 26159 Dulay Road NE. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend!
Topics will include an overview of criminal activities; responses to homeless encampments by the county's Homeless Encampment Action Response and Transitions (HEART) Program; and the Citizens On Patrol (COPS) volunteers that provide parking enforcement support downtown. There will be time for questions from the public.
The meeting will also feature KCAC committee reports, updates on community events and activities, and opportunities for public comment.

The Kingston Community Advisory Council holds public monthly meetings to provide a discussion forum and enhance communication between Kingston-area residents, businesses and Kitsap County government. KCAC members work proactively to address community issues and concerns. They represent Kingston's broad interests as at-large members appointed by County Commissioners or spokespeople of local organizations including the Port of Kingston, North Kitsap School District, the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, Village Green Foundation and Friends of the Kingston Library.
