How can we achieve equitable rights for LGBTQ Americans?

Friends --
This Friday will mark four years since a man with legally obtained firearms entered the Pulse nightclub here in Central Florida and murdered 49 innocent people. At the time, it was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history -- and it shook me to my core. After watching my Republican congressman cash a check from the NRA just two days later, I knew I had to take action -- so I ran for Congress.
Now, as we approach four years since the Pulse nightclub attack, I'm taking time to remember the victims -- mostly members of the LGBTQ community -- who were targeted and killed that night. We have made progress as a nation in the fight to end discrimination against LGBTQ people, but we still have a long way to go.
The best way I know to honor their memories is to do all we can to fight for true equality for all people. That's why I cosponsored and voted for the Equality Act. But we can and must do more.
I'm working hard in Congress to achieve equal rights for all LGBTQ people. Will you help me during this Pride month by sharing what you think we should be doing to achieve full equity for LGBTQ Americans?
