It’s been a busy couple of months for District Four!
Here’s a quick look at what Team Monica has been up to.

STANDING UP FOR SAN DIEGANS

and in the community
on the Board

Monica advanced a County ordinance to protect San Diegans from predatory lending or unfair evictions after an emergency.

Monica joined a local coalition to oppose federal cuts to Medicaid, CalFresh benefits, housing assistance, and financial aid programs.

Listening to the community

and delivering results

TIMES OF SAN DIEGO: “County Breaks Ground on New Casa de Oro Library Set to Open Spring 2026"

In February, Team Monica helped break ground on The Casa De Oro Library, marking a major investment of $22.8 million into our community!

We’re looking forward to a space that fosters learning, connection, and creativity.

Now we're advocating for you in the budget!
