It’s been a busy couple of months for District Four! Here’s a quick look at what Team Monica has been up to. STANDING UP FOR SAN DIEGANS. Monica advanced a County ordinance to protect San Diegans from predatory lending or unfair evictions after an emergency. Monica joined a local coalition to oppose federal cuts to Medicaid, CalFresh benefits, housing assistance, and financial aid programs. Listening to the community and delivering results County Breaks Ground on New Casa de Oro Library Set to Open Spring 2026. In February, Team Monica helped break ground on The Casa De Oro Library, marking a major investment of $22.8 million into our community!
