John: yesterday our finance director, Sharlese, announced our campaign needed to raise $250,000 by our public fundraising deadline at the end of June.
Here's the truth: it's a huge goal. It's one of the biggest we've ever faced, and we weren't sure we would be able to reach it when we announced it.
But something incredible happened: across North Carolina grassroots donors stepped up big time! Take a look:
In just one day, we already made major progress towards hitting our goal.
With 20 days left in the month, we're confident that we can do it -- but only if we can keep up the incredible momentum we've seen in the last 24 hours.
If we fall short of this goal, we risk being drowned out by attack ads from the extreme-right. We can't afford to let that happen, John.
We hate to be so direct - but if you're financially able, can you rush a small contribution of $10 to help keep our momentum strong?

Cooper Finance Team
We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight.
