CAN YOU HELP SAVE ELEPHANTS?

Dear John,

Since we launched our ‘Vanishing Futures: Save Africa’s Giants’ campaign on Tuesday, we have been blown away by your response!

So many of our wonderful supporters have jumped at the chance to have their donations DOUBLED, and we have already raised an amazing £18,882.

Can you help us reach our target of £100,000?

£18,882

We still have quite a way to go to reach our target of £100,000, but the great news is there’s still time for YOU to get involved!

DOUBLE YOUR DONATION ([link removed])

Every pound you donate until midday on Tuesday 29th April will be matched, making your support and generosity go twice as far.

Africa’s iconic animals – including awe-inspiring elephants – desperately need your help. Will you step up to help us save these giants from extinction?

DONATE NOW! ([link removed])

Elephants are so important

There’s something special about elephants, don’t you agree? It was the death of Pole Pole, the young elephant at London Zoo, that led to the start of our charity. Sensitive and wise, these complex family animals show compassion, care for young and old, and mourn their dead.

A ‘super-keystone species’, they play a vital role maintaining the balance of their ecosystems, so countless species can thrive.

Why are elephants at risk?

([link removed])

You’ll be shocked, but elephants are in crisis. Already under threat from habitat loss and climate change, they’re ruthlessly killed for their tusks – fuelled by demand for ivory trinkets in the Far East.

Imagine the horror, as terrified elephants try to defend their families. Others are killed for ‘sport’, and baby elephants are captured for zoos. A century ago, Africa had 10 million elephants. Today, there are less than 415,000; a 96% decline.

YOU can help elephants with a donation

Africa without elephants? Extinction a real possibility? We can’t let this happen!

Your gift today could help save this iconic species and keep them safe from poachers.

And don’t forget, if you donate NOW, your gift will be doubled and have twice the impact.

DOUBLE YOUR GIFT FOR ELEPHANTS ([link removed])

Because, if you keep elephants safe, they CAN recover. Since our work to fight the ivory trade and protect elephants in the wild began in 1989, numbers of elephants in Kenya have increased by 125% to over 36,000 today. Your gift will fund vital conservation work, stop poaching AND help Born Free phase-out keeping elephants captive in the UK (then Europe, then the world!).

Your gift will make the difference – together, let’s save Africa’s elephants.
