Dear advocate,
OCA is hosting two powerful events in our Unfinished – Cycles We Break, Stories We Rewrite series ([link removed]) , spotlighting storytelling and intergenerational resilience within the AANHPI community.
On Monday, April 21, We Are Not OK ([link removed]) will feature Vietnamese American storyteller Susan Lieu and filmmaker Elizabeth Ai in an evening of dialogue, art, and healing. Then, on Saturday, April 26, we’ll gather at American University for In Conversation with Susan Lieu ([link removed]) , an intimate discussion of her memoir, The Manicurist’s Daughter—a deeply personal story of identity, loss, and legacy.
These events are a reminder that the stories we carry shape the future we build. And that future deserves protection.
As you reflect on the impact of these narratives, we invite you to take a meaningful step: creating your will. Through our partnership with FreeWill, you can make or update your will ([link removed]) for free in just 20 minutes.
Create my free will and legacy ([link removed])
Including an optional legacy gift to OCA in your will ensures that our mission continues to thrive, supporting:
* National advocacy to advance civil rights for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs),
* Leadership development for the next generation of AANHPI changemakers,
* Community outreach and education that strengthens solidarity across marginalized groups.
* Securing your legacy ([link removed]) can help fuel justice, visibility, and opportunity—for generations to come.
Thank you for being part of our story and for helping shape a future rooted in love, courage, and collective power.
Take care,
Thu Nguyen
Executive Director, OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates
P.S. If you have already included a gift to OCA in your will, please let us know ([link removed]) so we can recognize your dedication.
