OCA is hosting two powerful events in our Unfinished – Cycles We Break, Stories We Rewrite series, spotlighting storytelling and intergenerational resilience within the AANHPI community.
On Monday, April 21, We Are Not OK will feature Vietnamese American storyteller Susan Lieu and filmmaker Elizabeth Ai in an evening of dialogue, art, and healing. Then, on Saturday, April 26, we’ll gather at American University for In Conversation with Susan Lieu, an intimate discussion of her memoir, The Manicurist’s Daughter—a deeply personal story of identity, loss, and legacy.
These events are a reminder that the stories we carry shape the future we build. And that future deserves protection.
As you reflect on the impact of these narratives, we invite you to take a meaningful step: creating your will. Through our partnership with FreeWill, you can make or update your will for free in just 20 minutes.
