Join us at the Michigan Department of Transportation's community forum and make your voice heard: Detroiters want better, reliable transit.?

A streetcar, or at minimum better bus service, on Michigan Ave will alleviate traffic, save the workers and residents of the area money on gas and insurance, reduce drunk driving incidents, increase business and make air quality better.

Detroit used to have the most expansive transit system in the country, connecting not only Detroiters to jobs, school, medical appointments & fun; but people from the suburbs, even as far as Wyandotte, used to be able to come to the city by rail too.

And this is just the beginning: first Michigan Ave, then Gratiot, Mack/MLK, Grand River, and every spoke street and Mile road. Let's reconnect Detroit & beyond!
