Help protect dogs and puppies from abuse!

Friend,
Right now, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s approach to inspecting puppy mills, which are inhumane, high-volume dog breeding facilities that churn out puppies for profit, is failing to address violations in a timely manner. As a result, puppy mill operators can continue violating the Animal Welfare Act without consequences and abused and neglected puppies and dogs continue to suffer.
Please, will you donate $20 or more now to Humane World Action Fund, formerly Humane Society Legislative Fund, to help us end animal abuse at puppy mills and protect all animals from harm? We’re counting on your support to reach our urgent $50,000 goal before our next big deadline on April 30th.

The Animal Welfare Act is meant to protect millions of animals housed in puppy mills and other USDA-regulated facilities, and yet repeat offenders who continue to violate basic standards of animal care receive little to no consequences because of the current lack of enforcement. This allows puppy mill operators to keep animals in deplorable conditions, with no water, untreated health concerns and more—all for the sake of profit. That’s why we’re fighting to pass the Better CARE for Animals Act to tackle this enforcement problem head-on by giving the U.S. Department of Justice the tools to collaborate more effectively with USDA to better enforce the Animal Welfare Act and save the lives of suffering animals before it's too late.
Friend, by fighting to change the laws that allow for this level of abuse to continue, we are tackling the root causes of animal cruelty and suffering. But this fight requires immense resources, and that’s why we need you by our side to help us reach our ambitious $50,000 fundraising goal before April 30.
Will you make a gift now to Humane World Action Fund, the nation’s premier advocacy and political organization for animals, to help us continue the fight to pass legislation that protects puppies and all animals from harm?
