World Parkinson's Day isn't just about Parkinson's,
it's about people. People everywhere, just like you and me,
living their lives in the face of a challenge that demands resilience
and strength. No two people have the exact same journey with
Parkinson's, but one thing everyone with Parkinson's
deserves is support and the chance to live well.
This is what World Parkinson's Day is about. Today, we raise
our voices to ensure that people living with Parkinson's do not
stand alone. With community, support and connection, we can help
people affected by Parkinson's to thrive. This World
Parkinson's Day, we're focused on the human stories
behind each diagnosis.
Parkinson's doesn't discriminate, and can affect anyone
regardless of their age, race or gender. We're highlighting
just a few of these unique journeys below, and encourage you to share
yours as well. Click their image to read their stories.

Li Jiang xs Diagnosed with
early onset
Parkinson's
[link removed]
at the age of 21,
Li has faced her
Parkinson's
journey earlier
than most. Living
with
Parkinson's
hasn't
always been easy,
but through
lifestyle changes
and opening up
about her
diagnosis, Li has
found strength
and hope, opening
new doors and new
opportunities. Li
is proud of who
she is and how
far she's
come, and she
isn't
afraid to share
her story as she
embarks on a new
career path where
she plans to help
others just like
her.

diagnosed in 2014,
he was determined
to keep cycling,

sailing, and
playing pickleball
for as long as
possible. Although
he had to let some
of these
activities go,
he's found
new ones as he
became involved
with the
Parkinson's
community, serving
as Chairman of the
Board for the
Parkinson's
Wellness Project
in Victoria.
Andy has
found immense
support through
the
Parkinson's
community and his
family. Andy has
vowed to keep
moving, connecting
and advocating for
people with
Parkinson's,
because no one
should face a
Parkinson's
journey
alone.
As we celebrate World Parkinson's Day, we celebrate the faces
