This week, the U.S. House of Representatives is planning to vote on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act — a dangerous attack on our voting rights that threatens the ability to register and cast a ballot for more than 20 million eligible voters.

If signed into law, the SAVE Act would impose harsh new voter registration requirements like:

- Forcing every voter to register or update their registration in person.
- Mandating proof of citizenship with documents many Americans don’t have easy access to, like passports or birth certificates that match their current name.
- Eliminating voter registration by mail.
- Shutting down voter registration drives.
- Eliminating online voter registration.

These restrictions would silence millions of voters — especially young voters, Black and Brown voters, women, rural voters, and more.

We can’t sit this one out. Our fundamental right to vote is at stake. Call or email your members of Congress today and demand they vote NO on the SAVE Act.
