Right now most Americans are rooting for Donald Trump to do his job well, the same way we would root for our airplane pilot - if he can't fly and land the plane, we're all going down together.

That's why it is so maddening to see the same old President Trump who we had to impeach earlier this year.

Just as he abused his power to try to strongarm Ukraine into helping him get re-elected, he's now playing politics with aid to states, playing it fast and loose with how America's economy reopens to benefit his own aims, and setting a lousy example by refusing to wear a mask and continuing to tout a "treatment" for COVID-19 that many studies say could do more harm than good.

For him, it's still all about him - even though more than 100,000 Americans have died of this pandemic on his watch.

The truth is -- Trump is more worried about his personal and political fortunes than the lives of Americans. That's why this November we have to defeat him, or we're doomed to four more years of his feckless presidency.

For many, this election can be the difference between life and death. You'll have to #VoteForYourLife.
