President Trump has turned our nation’s capital into a battlefield, pitting the US military against American citizens peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights.

He is trying to turn our democracy into a dictatorship by calling peaceful protestors terrorists and normalizing the use of the military to squash their First Amendment rights.

And his allies in Congress have cheered him on every step of the way.

President Trump is a fascist attempting to dismantle our democracy.

Yesterday, Trump activated the US military against American citizens, turning our nation’s capital into a battlefield where weapons of war were pointed at American citizens.

Under Trump’s command, peaceful protestors and members of the media were violently attacked so he could take a cheap photo-op outside a church, holding up a Bible as a prop. 

Then, overnight, Blackhawk helicopters followed protesters by air while soldiers on the ground used tear gas — banned for use in warfare — on American citizens in our nation’s capital.

And now, this morning, Trump took to Twitter to thank himself for the use of ‘overwhelming force’ and ‘domination’ of Americans peacefully exercising their first amendment right.
