The reason we oppose SB1085 is simple, John: Lawmakers should focus on providing relief to middle-class families instead of pushing legislation that gives tax handouts to wealthy people with private jets.

For far too long, state lawmakers have prioritized tax cuts for their megadonors and large corporations over Arizona families struggling due to the high cost of living.

Enough is enough.

We’re not going to win this fight by sitting quietly while state lawmakers refuse to deliver for everyday Arizonans. We have to continue to show up, put pressure on our representatives, and demand they pass our affordability agenda that would make life more affordable for millions of hardworking Arizonans.
