Hey John — it’s Blake, Political and Advocacy Manager at Opportunity Arizona.
You may have read my emails before, but have you ever heard me testify at the Arizona State Legislature?

Last month, I testified in front of state lawmakers about SB1085 — a bill that would give the ultra-wealthy tax cuts for their aviation property and allow them to receive tax write-offs for renovating the cabin of their private jet.
Watch my testimony here and then consider chipping in a donation to Opportunity Arizona to send more advocates to the state legislature >>
The reason we oppose SB1085 is simple, John: Lawmakers should focus on providing relief to middle-class families instead of pushing legislation that gives tax handouts to wealthy people with private jets.
For far too long, state lawmakers have prioritized tax cuts for their megadonors and large corporations over Arizona families struggling due to the high cost of living.
Enough is enough.
We’re not going to win this fight by sitting quietly while state lawmakers refuse to deliver for everyday Arizonans. We have to continue to show up, put pressure on our representatives, and demand they pass our affordability agenda that would make life more affordable for millions of hardworking Arizonans.
Our fight for working families across Arizona is fueled by grassroots supporters like you. Can you pitch in a donation today to ensure we can continue sending advocates to the State Capitol and putting pressure on state lawmakers to pass our affordability agenda?

Thanks for joining this fight, John.
