Dear Bernie Volunteers in the Berkshires,
Remember back in March when we were all tirelessly knocking on doors and
calling Berkshire residents to get them out to vote for Bernie in the
primary? So much has happened since then. Biden won the primary, COVID-19
exploded, Bernie ended his campaign. News about Ahmaud Arbery broke, George
Floyd was murdered. If you've been reeling in anger, you're not alone.
Now is the time to mobilize. While the Berkshires DSA Chapter continues to
organize and connect with people in the community, we know many of you are
already participating in Black Lives Matter protests, volunteering for the
Alex Morse campaign and more.Today presents us with an opportunity to get
active in statewide electoral politics.
Just yesterday we learned about a concerted effort by a group of Bernie
supporters in Massachusetts who are continuing to build a community of
activists committed to bringing our shared progressive values to the
statehouse. A virtual barnstorm for 6 progressive Massachusetts state rep
candidates who are all fellow Bernie supporters will happen *today (6/7) at
4pm ET*. *THIS* is what a movement looks like! Join us to learn more about
