Victory for Pennsylvania voters
* In a win for voters, a federal judge ruled ([link removed]) that a Pennsylvania law requiring counties to reject undated or wrongly dated mail-in ballots violated the First and 14th Amendments. Election officials cannot reject ballots simply for missing a correct handwritten date from the voter.
Paul, Weiss was ‘called upon’ to launch center to fight hate – now it won’t talk about it

Trump administration drops lawsuit against Georgia’s voter suppression bill
* Attorney General Pam Bondi announced ([link removed]) she is directing the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to dismiss its lawsuit against Georgia’s massive voter suppression law. The announcement makes this the fifth Biden-era DOJ pro-voting lawsuit that’s been dropped under Trump.
* Despite the DOJ withdrawing from the Georgia lawsuit, litigation brought by pro-voting and advocacy groups is still ongoing in both district court and a federal appeals court.
What’s at stake in tomorrow’s Wisconsin election
* It's Election Day tomorrow in Wisconsin for ideological control of the state Supreme Court. Elon Musk and other right-wing donors poured ([link removed]) in millions of dollars to support conservative candidate Brad Schimel, while Democrats are putting funding behind liberal candidate Susan Crawford.
* Musk handed out $1M checks to Wisconsin voters who signed his petition opposing “activist judges” after the state Supreme Court rejected the state’s request to block the tech billionaire’s giveaway.
House considers rules for debating SAVE Act
* The House Rules Committee met this afternoon to establish rules for debate on two bills: The SAVE Act, the GOP's restrictive ([link removed]) nationwide proof of citizenship for voting bill, and a bill to limit district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions: This bill was drawn up by Republicans after judges blocked many of Trump's recent actions to expand presidential power.
