Whether you live in Wisconsin or not, this race will impact you. Going back to a suppressive state Supreme Court means unfair maps, leading to skewed representation in Congress. Just like we've seen with North Carolina, one court seat can mean a few House seats and be enough to keep a suppressive majority in place in Congress.

MJS: Early voting surpasses 500,000 in Wisconsin's election featuring pivotal Supreme Court race
John: On Tuesday Wisconsin voters will decide between progressive Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford and conservative former Attorney General Brad Schimel in a race that will determine the ideological balance of the court.
Why is this election important? Wisconsin's Supreme Court elections are nonpartisan, but the ideological balance of the court has widespread ramifications for voting rights, civil rights, and a slew of other state policy implications. State Supreme Courts like this one are also often the final arbiters of election disputes, as we saw in both the 2020 and 2022 elections.
In 2023 progressive judge Janet Protasiewicz won a similar race and flipped the balance of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, giving the state a 4-3 pro-voting rights majority. The outcome of this year's election will determine whether Wisconsin holds that liberal majority moving forward or if the court slides back to the suppressive policies of Wisconsin's past.
Now, early voting has skyrocketed in Wisconsin. Opponents of voting rights are pouring dark money into this race, boosting turnout in their suppressive-leaning counties. We've got to respond with our grassroots power or we're going to watch this crucial state slide backwards.
John: Turnout is everything right now in Wisconsin to make sure every defender of voting rights gets to the polls. Push our efforts over the top with $25 or whatever you can right now to defend a state Supreme Court that protects voting rights >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
