In the latest round of attacks on environmental protections from the Trump administration, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin proposed the “biggest environmental rollback in history.” His 31-part order directs the agency to begin gutting federal rules to safeguard our health, air, water, and climate.

Zeldin is abandoning the EPA’s mandate to protect the health of the American people and granting the wish list of fossil fuel industries from coal-fired power plants to oil and gas drillers.

Earthjustice has successfully defended many of these safeguards in court, and we’ll do so again. And as an Earthjustice advocate, you have joined us in defending policies that aim to build lasting environmental protections, and we cannot let this new administration erase the progress we have achieved together.

Protect forests from a massive expansion of logging

Our forests belong to us all, but the Trump administration wants to sell our forests to the highest bidder. President Trump has signed an executive order that seeks to ramp up logging, including clear-cutting, across federal forests. We need your help to call on the Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Department of the Interior (DOI) and tell them that you oppose increased logging in our federal forests.

Tell the Trump administration to keep toxic pesticides off our food

Chlorpyrifos is a neurotoxic pesticide that was originally banned in 2021, but today the EPA is again deciding whether to allow it to be used on our food. Urge the EPA to reinstate the food ban on chlorpyrifos and issue bans on other neurotoxic pesticides that should be out of our food supply for good.
