I've been working hard on some key bills... in some cases for years. It's starting to pay off. ([link removed])

Persistence is key!

This is the third session I've brought the "Defend the Guard" bill before the Senate- and this time it passed.

Well, prospects look good in the House as well! It passed committee there and will be voted on soon on the floor!

Unfortunately, things don't always go so smoothly. I am steadfast in stopping stolen valor- people lying about their service in the military.

As a vet myself, it offends me.

So we recently received some well-intentioned legislation from the House to address this issue. I asked that it be made uniform with the Federal law on the same issue, but I'm getting pushback.

As much as I am fighting for you, I'm getting pushback on a LOT of issues- especially from the Governor's office.

HI know not everyone wants to know how the sausage is made, but this year in session, your support has proven critical on a number of big bills. Literally, YOU are driving legislation in the AZ Legislature! ([link removed])
