Rob just scored a major victory in his fight to keep our communities safe
from gun violence.

In a 7-4 decision, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that
California’s large-capacity magazine ban doesn’t violate the Second
Amendment.

Let’s be clear: this law saves lives. Large-capacity magazines can hold
more than 10 rounds of ammunition and are frequently used in mass
shootings. By limiting how many rounds a gunman can fire before they must
pause to reload, this commonsense restriction is a critical intervention
to stop shootings from turning into mass casualty events.

The AG has been fighting to keep this law on the books and prevent
senseless injuries and deaths in our communities — and with this latest
ruling, he delivered.

But we know from experience that the gun industry, far-right politicians,
and the NRA won’t give up easily either. We need to be as committed to the
fight as they are, and then some. Addressing the gun violence epidemic is
a collective responsibility, and Rob can’t do it without your help.
