As an immigrant myself, I’m deeply troubled by the actions of Trump and the GOP. They’ve decided that the rule of law, federal judges’ orders, due process, and our core American values do not apply to the immigrants they don’t like.

If you think this won’t affect you, think again. The Trump Administration will continue its lawless crusade against all the groups Trump and his supporters vilify. We cannot stand by and do nothing, and that’s why I’m emailing.

Yvette is the Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, and in this leadership position, she’s able to rally other Black members of Congress to oppose Trump and do whatever they can to stop our country’s fascist turn.
