As a reminder, Trump only carried CA-40 by two points last November – a smaller margin than California’s overall rightward shift between 2020 and 2024. It’s one of the most college-educated districts still held by a Republican, making it a prime battleground for Democrats.

With just three seats separating Democrats from the majority, a win here could be the key to flipping the House and stopping Trump and Musk’s dangerous agenda in its tracks.
