Last month, after pressure from lawmakers and the public, the Trump administration reinstated a USDA federal scholarship program that benefits students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) studying agriculture and related fields.

As a former history teacher and a proud HBCU graduate, I will always fight to make America’s greatness accessible to everyone -- starting with ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has access to a quality education that prepares them to succeed.
