Many parents are wondering how the coronavirus (COVID-19) affects children with asthma. Based on current evidence, it is unclear if asthma poses an increased risk for COVID-19. But, since COVID-19 is a respiratory virus, meaning it targets the lungs, it’s important to take precautions for children with asthma. The IMPACT DC Asthma Clinic has come up with some ways to keep your children safe during this time ([link removed]) .
