BJS has released "PREA Data Collection Activities, 2024", the 17th report in a series on Prison Rape Elimination Act [ [link removed] ] data collection activities. This report describes BJS’s efforts in 2024 to measure the incidence and prevalence of rape and sexual assault in adult correctional and juvenile justice facilities, including three independent collections: the Survey of Sexual Victimization [ [link removed] ], the National Inmate Survey [ [link removed] ], and the National Survey of Youth in Custody [ [link removed] ].
