No excuse is needed to vote absentee in D.C. Voting via mail-in ballots is strongly encouraged but is not required. Every registered Washington, D.C. voter should have received an absentee ballot application and a postage-paid return envelope via mail prior to the June 2 Primary Election. Your completed mail-in ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day, June 2, and received no later than June 9 in order to be counted. You can also return your mail ballot in person at any vote center [[link removed]] .
If you've already voted, triple your impact by pledging to remind three friends to vote [[link removed]] . Tomorrow, we have the opportunity to create progress and elect leaders who share our values. If you encounter any problems voting, call 866-OUR-VOTE or text OUR VOTE to 97779.
