The Austrian Economics Research Conference is the international, interdisciplinary meeting of the Austrian School, bringing together leading scholars doing research in this vibrant and influential intellectual tradition. The conference is hosted by the Mises Institute at its campus in Auburn, Alabama, and is directed by Joseph Salerno, academic vice president of the Mises Institute and professor emeritus of economics at Pace University.

Join the Mises Institute for the annual Austrian Economics Research Conference (AERC) next month. This year AERC will feature a very special lecture by the legendary Dr. Hans-Hermann Hoppe ([link removed]) —who will join us in person—as well as memorial lectures from Steve H. Hanke ([link removed]) , Edward W. Fuller ([link removed]) , and Patrick Newman ([link removed]) .

The conference begins on Thursday, March 20, at the Auburn University Hotel with an informal welcome reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. central time. Sessions begin Friday and continue throughout the day and all day Saturday.

Parking is available at AU Hotel for guests at a rate of $10 per night for self-parking, $15 per night for valet parking.

Be sure to mention you are with the Institute. If you are driving, there are other hotels ([link removed]) in the Auburn area that are beyond walking distance of the Mises Institute.

The early discounted registration fee for Faculty and Presenters is $335 ($350 after March 1). The registration fee for Observers is $395 per person. Only registered attendees are permitted at the conference. No children under 16 years old are allowed.
