The Deadline for the AERC Event Hotel

Join the Mises Institute for the annual Austrian Economics Research Conference (AERC) next month. This year AERC will feature a very special lecture by the legendary Dr. Hans-Hermann Hoppe—who will join us in person—as well as memorial lectures from Steve H. Hanke, Edward W. Fuller, and Patrick Newman.

The conference begins on Thursday, March 20, at the Auburn University Hotel with an informal welcome reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. central time. Sessions begin Friday and continue throughout the day and all day Saturday.

We have a room block at the Auburn University Hotel for Thursday–Saturday nights. Call 334-821-8200 or use this link by the end of day today, February 17, to secure our special rate of $175 plus tax. Be sure to mention the Mises Institute’s Austrian Economics Research Conference. Parking is available at AU Hotel for guests at a rate of $10 per night for self-parking, $15 per night for valet parking.

For other nearby accommodations, we recommend Auburn Gameday Center (334-826-8870), which is around the corner from the Mises Institute. Be sure to mention you are with the Institute. If you are driving, there are other hotels in the Auburn area that are beyond walking distance of the Mises Institute.

The early discounted registration fee for Faculty and Presenters is $335 ($350 after March 1). The registration fee for Observers is $395 per person. Only registered attendees are permitted at the conference. No children under 16 years old are allowed.
