Friend, costs continue to skyrocket, House Republicans just voted to gut SNAP programs that feed our kids and Medicare and Medicaid funding that helps countless Americans access affordable healthcare.

And instead of actually doing anything to give Americans a leg up, Republicans are just turning the dial up on their extreme, anti-Black agenda:

Friend, DOGE is supercharging discriminatory firings that harm workers of color, women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups. But these firings aren’t just relegated to government agencies.

Just last week, award-winning news anchor and the first Black woman to anchor in primetime, Joy Ann Reid, was fired from her position on MSNBC. She drew national attention for her outspoken coverage of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 and has been a fervent critic of President Trump.

Let’s bring this all full circle, friend.

Government agencies, major corporations, and even news outlets are falling in lockstep with these extreme anti-DEI policies — even if they don’t have to — because they’re terrified of getting placed under the MAGA/Musk microscope next.

But while they can challenge our voices, they cannot challenge what we have built — after all, the White House was built by Black hands and with slave labor.

As Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, Yvette Clarke is fighting to hold organizations accountable for walking back policies that support underserved communities and Americans of color. She’s working with legal experts to enshrine key diversity policies. And she’s ready to fight on the frontlines against the ongoing attacks on Black Americans.
