equipping parents for healthier futures

Healthy Futures of Texas is excited to announce the launch of our new statewide public awareness campaign, "Confident Parents Raise Confident Teens," presented by [Talk About It Texas]([link removed]). This initiative is designed to empower parents with the tools and confidence they need to have meaningful conversations with their teens and young adults about healthy relationships and sexual health.

The campaign will reach nearly five million parents and youth in Dallas, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley through targeted ads on [Facebook]([link removed]), Instagram, [YouTube]([link removed]), and digital billboards placed in areas with a significant need for support. By providing parents with the resources they need to navigate these crucial discussions, we aim to strengthen families and foster healthier futures for Texas teens.

Our programs are available both online and in-person across Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley. Parents can register for programs [here]([link removed]).

advocacy updates

The [Texas Women's Healthcare Coalition]([link removed]) hosted its 2025 Advocacy Day, bringing together providers, advocates, and community leaders to champion access to preventive healthcare for Texas women. With critical issues like maternal mortality and healthcare access gaps at the forefront, participants engaged with policymakers to advocate for programs that support women’s health. At Healthy Futures of Texas, we know how vital this work is, and we applaud the great work in advocating for policies that ensure all women have access to the care they need. Thank you to everyone who joined this effort—your voices are essential in shaping a healthier future for Texas
women and families!
