INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Changes to WDE601 Data Collection

Beginning in July, the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) will collect the WDE601 Annual District Report through the Wyoming Interoperable Data System (WINDS). Collection of the WDE601 in the State Report Manager (SRM) was discontinued for the 2024-25 school year and replaced by WINDS. Applications are being accepted for the Douvas Memorial Scholarship, established by Peter George Douvas, an immigrant from Greece. *Distance Education Grant Application to Open in April*

The 2025-26 Distance Education Grant application will be open April 1–30. Eligible Wyoming school districts, community colleges, and the University of Wyoming can receive a portion of the $170,000 available to develop and maintain Virtual 307 distance education courses and programs offered by districts. Districts must have an approved Virtual Education program in order to be eligible for the grant. ACT Spring 2025 Administration

Per Wyoming statute, high school juniors must take the ACT Science, Writing, English, Reading, and Math tests. All spring 2025 subject tests will be administered in the standard timeframe, with the typical number of items.
